Living on a gravity-heavy planet, the Kyuzo evolved into beings with dense muscular fibres as well as quick reflexes which made them more dangerous on planets with standard gravity. Along with the high gravity, the atmosphere was different from other planets causing the people to have to wear special masks or bandages to cover their face, although not wearing one would not be fatal, just hindering. Their culture states that oaths and contracts are unbreakable and that they must follow through to the end.
