The Twi'lek are sentient humaniod figures on the planet Ryloth. Their skin can appear in a vast array of colours but they are most distinguishable by their Leku. Leku are a pair of prehensile appendages that sprouted from the crown or base of their skulls. Some distinguishing features between the male and the female Twi'lek are that the male have ears similar to humans while the females have cone-shaped hearing organs, found in the same place on the head.
