Kashyyyk
Natural Mobs
Sathog
Sathogs are a species of boar wolves primarily found on Kashyyyk. These creatures are usually described as "ugly boars", quite rightly so, as their appearance is exactly cute and friendly. This however does not mean they are hostile mobs; on the contrary, Sathogs are quite friendly unless attacked.

Kkryytch
The kkryytch is a flightless bird with a large beak and big eyes. It uses its large beak to pick seeds out of the ground, which suffices enough for its diet. Its large round eyes allow it to sense danger quicker than most bird species. When the time comes when it needs to run away from predators, its agility sure makes up for the lack of flight, as it can be a very difficult task to catch one.

Passive
They can run ridiculously fast, but are unable to fly, flapping around helplessly when falling down.

Mouf
Moufs are touchy creatures with extremely slow metabolisms which survive on minimal food resources, including the bark of dying trees. They are also solitary creatures that often get together to feed or mate, but other than that, they live their lives alone. Their hide is very though and helps them in surviving most predator attacks, but because of its toughness, the moufs were also hunted by humanoid species to use the leather as battle armour. Eventually, these primitive armours were replaced by stronger defensive clothing, but they are still being hunted for their fur, which is seen as a luxury by some people.

Passive
Medium-sized, solitary herbivores which don't pose a threat to other passive animals. Their luxurious fur, however, is a reason why this animal is still being hunted.

Kybuck
Kybucks are ungulates native to the planet Kashyyyk, and have a similar appearance to the Hothian tauntauns. Their swift speed, along with the cover of their natural environment, allows them to be able to run from predators with a speed of up to 90 kilometres per hour. The Wookiees adore the kybuck for having protective familial instincts that resembled that of the Wookiee culture, and because of that, do not hunt the creatures. Some chieftains often domesticate kybucks as a symbol of status.

Netcaster
The netcaster was a highly dangerous arachnid native to Kashyyyk. They spin webs among the tall trees of their native environment which traps their usual prey, namely the daubirds. When attacked or confronted by dangerous predators, the netcaster would use its highly venomous bite to protect itself. Netcasters are also able to shoot a projectile of silk and enzymes to slow down their targets on a distance.

These spiders can shoot a liquid of silk and enzymes to web their targets, which can also inflict grave poison.

Shadevale
These serpentine creatures make their home in the waters of the jungle planet Kashyyyk. They are social and aggressive creatures which have no issue attacking not only adventures, but also mounts that dare go close to or enter the water. It was even once reported shadevales attack katarns.

These water snakes are capable of swinging around their body, allowing them to hurt nearby threats.

Daubird
Not much is known about these medium-sized birds, as they are a very rare sight and considered an endangered species. The combination of their rather aggressive behaviour, weak attacks and fragile body isn't exactly the best set for "survival of the fittest", and a totally random and unnecessary attack could lead to their death. Besides that, daubirds are also the main prey of the dangerous netcasters.

Wyyyschokk
Wyyyschokk are a species of spider that lives on the planet Kashyyyk. Both highly intelligent and extremely hostile, they ensnare prey by casting webbing at them from a distance, and often wait to ambush their prey by attacking them from above or below. They are highly intelligent and hostile to most sentient lifeforms, which lives up to their status as "most dangerous creature on Kashyyyyk". The species is so prevalent on Kashyyyk that at least 15% of the planet's forests are estimated to be covered in their webs. Due to this, young Wookiees are taught to defend against the creatures at ages as early as three years old.

Katarn
A katarn is a predatory quadruped reptomammal native to the planet Kashyyyk. They have slender bodies with rodent-like tails, and narrow faces leading back to a cartilaginous ridge protecting their neck and shoulders. Katarns are also ferocious and merciless predators which track their prey for long periods before choosing an opportune moment to strike. They are described as "silent, shadowy, and deadly". Some katarns are domesticated as the war-mounts of Wookiee dragon troopers.
